My daughter turned up one day with a brochure for Yours Sincerely. I was doubtful but I did read everything. It seemed like a very nice way to meet new people with no blind dates and no awkward refusals.

Then my son and daughter in law joined in and facing odds of three to one, I booked an interview with Margot.  She was very reassuring and honest but hopeful of my chances also. Apparently I wasn’t the only single fifty-something out there, we just needed a bit of help finding each other.

And she was right. I liked Peter from the moment I saw his profile, and I hoped he would agree to the introduction. He did. We took things slowly, both of us had had long term relationships and settling in with a new partner took some getting used to, but we managed.
