My Hobbies and Interests: Include architecture, live music, art, different cultures and foods, travel (I’ve visited many different countries from Egypt to Romania), trying new things, the theatre, the cinema, eating out, socialising, spectator sports, cycling and canoeing. Until recently I had a boat on the West Coast (which I love) and I may go back to having a boat in the future.

Background Information: I’ve had quite a varied and interesting life. I was born in South Wales but grew up in Lancashire. After school I studied architecture and worked in a variety of architectural practices. I also have a degree in Interior Design, have worked in the Norwich Puppet Theatre, lived on a smallholding in Wales as well as on a narrow boat in Warwickshire. I moved to Scotland in 1979 and teach sculpture and design, as well as doing a little freelance design work. My paintings are best described as abstract and my house as stylish.

Personality: I’m a good listener; interested in people, very creative, practical, energetic, romantic and impulsive. I tend to lead rather than follow, I’m enthusiastic, have a good sense of humour and I’m a good conversationalist. I have a great range of interesting friends who I care deeply about, and I love the countryside and animals. I dislike prejudice and narrow mindedness.

I'd like to meet: A lady who has a zest for life, who is interested in others, a good conversationalist, a good sense of humour, articulate, intelligent, open to new interests, ideas and cultures. Someone attractive, sensual, sensitive and caring, who also enjoys travel would be great.
