What area do you cover?: Yours Sincerely covers Central Scotland and the whole of middle England.
What ages are your clients?: Our clients are aged from around 30 to late 60s.
Are the numbers of men and women equal?: Our male:female ratio is excellent because we put additional revenue into gender-specific advertising. Some agencies give free membership to men. We don't subscibe to this because we feel that it's unfair to women clients. Our men have the same emotional and financial commitment to the service as our ladies, so they value it just as highly and treat those they meet well.
How would you describe your clients?: Each one is an individual but they do have certain things in common. They're all professionals or in business; they're all intelligent, articulate and interesting company. They're smart, personable, often well-travelled and most important of all, sincere!
Why do people join Yours Sincerely?: Because they know that they're looking for one special person and that we can help. They will either have decided that online dating is not for them or will have tried it but been unsuccessful. We offer a more personal, individual, confidential and ultimately more successful service.
Are dating agencies more socially acceptable these days?: Yes, in fact it's now so accepted that the Office for National Statistics (ONS) includes dating agency fees in their shopping basket which measures changes in the cost of living.
Must I be interviewed?: We think of it more in terms of meeting you for a friendly, informal chat but yes, we do meet all of our clients, either here at the office or one of our team of experienced Consultants will come to your home or meet you at a location convenient to you both.
How long will our meeting last?: Usually about an hour and don't worry, we'll make it a relaxing, enjoyable experience.
What happens next?: We will compile your profile within a few days and e-mail it to you for your approval. You tell us if you'd like anything amended and after that, we're ready to go. The whole process takes less than a week...
How are the introductions handled?: Every time we have a suitable introduction for you, we will e-mail that person's profile to you and vice versa. It will contain their photograph and all of their details apart from their contact details. Just let us know whether you'd like to proceed and if so we will exchange telephone numbers.
How many introductions can I expect?: Until we've met you, we won't know how eligible you are or whether you're flexible or not concerning the people you meet. On average though, we're able to achieve between 25 and 35 in a year.
Can I refuse an introduction?: Absolutely. You need to be fairly sure that this is someone you'd like to meet or we'll just be wasting everyone's time.
Is Yours Sincerely safe?: Whilst one can never guarantee anything in life (apart from death and taxes!), we can tell you that because we meet all our clients, no one has ever been caused distress or come to any harm by using our service.

We verify information supplied to us and if someone had anything to hide, why would they come to us when the Internet is an outlaw's paradise?
What is the ABIA?: The UK dating industry has always been unlicensed and unregulated although some years ago the OFT produced a suggested Code of Practice. We belong to the Association of British Introduction Agencies, a voluntary organisation established in 1980 to uphold standards in the industry and we adhere to the OFT guidelines in all respects.
How much does it cost to join?: All clients join initially for 12 months at a cost of £795 and there are two payment options.

1. Pay the fee in one sum and have 15 months membership instead of 12.

2. Spread the cost by paying £199 in 4 monthly instalments.
