My Hobbies and Interests: Include walking, landscape photography, a wide range of music and the cinema; the theatre and art and exploring new places at home and abroad. I also enjoy history, especially Scottish history and cycling, International rugby, football, rowing, sailing, hill walking and the outdoors. I’m currently taking dancing lessons and I’d like to try scuba diving. I believe in ‘giving back’ so I take part in voluntary work and community projects.

Background Information: I was born and raised in the Paisley area. After school I joined the Royal Bank and remained with them for 18 years but I’m now with the Lloyds Banking Group. My mother was from the remote north-west Highlands so I’ve spent a lot of time there over the years, with relatives who were crofters. I have a holiday home in Knoydart, near Skye and another property in Edinburgh. I therefore travel frequently between Glasgow and Edinburgh but I hope eventually to effect a transfer to Edinburgh.
