My Hobbies and Interests: I'm very much an 'outdoors' person. I like horse riding, fishing, birdwatching, walking, nature and wildlife but I also enjoy cooking, history, art, literature, museums, galleries and travel. To date I've visited Costa Rica, Iceland, Crete, Bulgaria, France, Spain and Switzerland.

Background Information: I was brought up in Sussex, went to Art college after school then worked as a freelance graphic designer. I became a warden with the Wildlife and Wetlands Trust and have been involved in conservation and wildlife ever since. In 1993 I took my degree as a mature student and have since worked as a field biologist for the RSPB and am now a conservation officer.

Personality: I'm a very genuine, non-materialistic, practical person but I'm also thoughtful
