Hobbies for couples
So you've found your perfect partner; now what?
If you're still in the honeymoon phase, this is probably obvious but if your relationship is moving from that intense time into something more long-term, you might want to find some hobbies or interests that you can share.
Dancing
It might be "girlie" but most women also find a man who can dance, very sexy. Added to that, it's fun, helps keep you both fit and is a great way for couples to improve their chemistry.
And if the thought of sequins and feathers sends shivers down your spine, try one of the Latin dances, like salsa.
Sports
From bowling to badminton, skiing to cycling, there are dozens of different sports you can enjoy together. Some more easily lend themselves to couples, like tennis whilst others like jogging tend to be more solo activities.
Finding a sport you both enjoy will allow you to spent time together whilst also keeping you fit. Betting on the outcome of your games can also add some spice to your relationship.
Canoeing
Taking a boat out on the river can be a very enjoyable, not to mention romantic way, to spend a day. You can pack a nice lunch to eat on the river bank and there are many beautiful rivers you can enjoy traversing with your other half.
Just try not to fall in as that's never a good look!
Watching Films
This is a great hobby to choose, especially if you don't know each other that well or you've been having trouble connecting.
The movie not only gives you an activity, it gives you something to discuss afterwards.
Cooking
Not everyone can relinquish control in the kitchen but if you can manage it, this is a very enjoyable and sensual way to connect with your partner. And if you're both awful in the kitchen, well hopefully you can at least have a good laugh.
Try thinking outside the box a little and making something a bit different, like chocolates, ice cream, or even cocktails.
If you are something of a control freak, why not try dividing a meal up so one takes the main course and one the dessert?
Of course, every couple is different. Maybe you and your partner's idea of a good time is studying poker combinatory or collecting limited edition Star Wars figurines.
And remember, whilst it's nice to spend time with your other half, it's also good to have time apart to pursue interests by yourself or with friends.
